Our Story
Over the years, we have seen and felt the destructiveness of climate change. We ourselves have to own up, that our ever growing and heavy reliance on fossil fuels, is a danger to both our living standards, general wellbeing and the future of our beautiful Pacific paradise.
IOTR Energy, is a Renewable Energy (RE) developer that delivers a range of solutions that supports the RE transitional goals and aspirations of communities and the people of the Pacific. It offers solutions that can generate and supply green energy that is convenient, accessible and value for money. IOTR Energy also offers climate mitigation solutions with the goals of cutting our dependency on fossil fuels and supports our aspirations towards a net zero emission future.
IOTR Energy is a start-up company based in the Cook Islands with a focus on the deployment of Solar Farms, Residential and Commercial Solar Systems, Electric Vehicles (EV) and EV charging stations.

The task that we have set ourselves is momentous and daunting.
It is a fact that as long as we generate our power with fossil fuels as the dominant source, our power prices will not come down. It is a fact that Renewable Energy, especially solar generated power is far less costly and much more climate friendly. Sure there are complexities in its introduction and at times the technology has its imperfections, but there are solutions. Sure there are concerns with protecting our power supply and those that currently provide it, but there are solutions. Sure there are difficulties in accessing climate finance and overcoming its many hurdles, but there are solutions. These solutions are not new nor are they novel - they just need effort and commitment. These solutions are not only state driven but also private sector led - it just needs a collective spirit and a willingness to collaborate.
This is a journey of realizing the potential of Renewable Energy and its power to transform lives for the better. This is a journey of harnessing the benefits of Renewable Energy in our efforts to combat climate change. It is a personal journey, but it is also a collective journey. A journey towards a common cause that is transformative and impactful. IOTR Energy is committed to this journey. We all can make a difference and make it happen.
We know that we are up against it. Time is against us and our perceptions has divided us. We can only succeed, if we are to work together on the common cause.
